Andrew White established Brooklawn Investment Partners in 2013 after working 9 years as a Partner at Samson Investment Partners ("Samson"), the family office for Roy J. Zuckerberg, former Vice Chairman of the Goldman Sachs Group. Andrew managed Samson's corporate and public investment activities and assisted with real estate investments.

Prior to Samson, Andrew worked at MSD Capital (MSD), the personal investment vehicle for Michael Dell and his family, as co-head of MSD's venture capital arm. Andrew also helped oversee MSD's external investments in hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and fixed income.

Prior to MSD Capital, Andrew worked in the Palo Alto and Dallas offices of McKinsey & Company where he advised Fortune 500 and emerging technology companies on a variety of strategic issues.

Andrew received an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Gary Lowenthal was born in New York City. He attended Stuyvesant High School and from the age of 10 worked in his father’s small butcher shop on 172nd Street and Broadway. Gary earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and later earned a Master’s degree in Education. After college he served for two years in the Peace Corps as a high school teacher in the Fiji Islands. Later he worked as a bartender in New Zealand and a fence pole digger in the outback of Australia. Upon his return to the USA Gary entered into the Executive Training Program of Bloomingdale’s Department Stores in Manhattan where over a seven-year tenure he held a number of buying and executive positions.

In 1979 Gary and his wife Justina started a small antiques shop on the ground floor of their house in Boyds, Maryland that was aptly named The Boyds Collection Ltd. Over 20 years Gary guided the business into the gift and decorative accessory market, building one of the most creative and financially successful giants in the industry. In 1997, The Boyds Collection was sold to a private equity firm based in New York, and in 1998 the company went public on The New York Stock Exchange with a market capitalization in excess of one billion dollars.

Gary currently guides his family's investments as well as the family's charitable foundation, the ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) Foundation. He also uses his tremendous entrepreneurial and operating experience as a consultant, lecturer, and strategic advisor on a number of business issues. He is an enthusiastic outdoorsman, enjoying bow hunting, fishing, farming, kayaking and biking.
